    Join the Center for Business and Management of the Arts and Assistant Director of Admissions and External Affairs, Margo Cash (Art Business, 2014) with guest Lauren Miyamoto (Arts Management, 2019) for a casual coffee chat about their experiences in the program. Lauren will join from 12-12:30 and additional questions can be asked until 1 p.m.





    Lauren Miyamoto (Arts Management, 2019)

    In addition to experience in fundraising, public programming, and administration at museums and arts institutions, Lauren Miyamoto brings more than four years of communications and journalism experience to the arts management field. Currently, she supports all aspects of fundraising at the Hammer Museum at UCLA as Development Coordinator. While earning her Master's in Arts Management from Claremont Graduate University, she served as a program assistant for the Getty Leadership Institute (now known as the Museum Leadership Institute) and a development apprentice for Art Share L.A. Before relocating to Los Angeles for the CBMArts program, Lauren led public programs at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA and worked as a producer for Bloomberg Television in San Francisco. She holds an M.A. in Arts Management from Claremont Graduate University and a B.A. in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the University of Southern California.

    Margo Cash (Art Business, 2014)

    Margo Cash is an Assistant Director of Admissions and External Affairs at Claremont Graduate University, overseeing recruitment and admissions for the Art Business and Arts Management programs.
    Prior to her role at CGU, she worked in development, including the annual fund and major gifts, at Claremont McKenna College, where she also led all student-based fundraising initiatives. She also planned and executed several successful giving days for alumni. She earned her MA from the Center for Business and Management of the Arts at Claremont Graduate University - part of the inaugural Art Business program cohort in 2014. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of La Verne with a minor in creative writing.
