Human Resource Class Preview: Training and Development

Come explore an online Human Resource class at CGU! Training and Development focuses on methods for using training and development within the organization to create more productive organizations. This course covers needs assessments and the design and implementation of training programs to address those needs. Analysis and application of adult learning theories is explored.

The class will be taught by Paola Alvarez. Paola has worked in the Human Resources field for more than 20 years in the Hospitality Industry for companies like Marriott International, Inc., The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC and Montage Hotels and Resorts. She also worked in the Aviation and Aerospace Industry with Esterline Technologies as a Director of Human Resources. Currently she holds the position of Vice President of Human Capital, West Coast for Reyes Beverage Group a Division of Reyes Holdings, LLC.

The session will begin with a 30 minute Q&A session with Regina Burch, assistant director of admissions for the Human Resource Management program. The class preview session will begin at 5:00 pm.
