Join Claremont Graduate University's School of Arts & Humanities for a Humanities Forum, followed by a happy hour hosted by the Dean. We are excited to welcome guest speaker Sr. Francisca Ngozi Uti, who will present on Global Gender Issues: How Tradition, Culture, and Religion Impact the Empowerment of Women and Girls.

Sr. Francisca Ngozi Uti is the founder and executive director of the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention (CWSI) in Abuja, Nigeria. Founded by the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus, CWSI empowers women and vulnerable groups through advocacy, education, and research. The organization also advocates for women's inclusion in government and fights gender-based violence in five Nigerian states.
